Hey there, I’m Amy! My journey into trail running and ultramarathons started with a desire to challenge myself and see the world from a different perspective. I’ve always loved the thrill of racing through diverse landscapes, from the high-altitude trails of Mexico to the rugged peaks of the UK. Over the years, I’ve run some of the most iconic ultramarathons, like Ultra Trail La Ruta Madre, which have not only tested my endurance but deepened my appreciation for the places I race through.
What I love most is helping other adventurers prepare for their own trail running challenges, whether it’s tackling a local race or preparing for an ultramarathon in a remote corner of the world. I’ve raced in some of the most diverse and challenging locations—from the volcanic landscapes of Mexico to the lush hills of Guatemala and the scenic trails in England. I’ve learned what it takes to succeed on these diverse terrains, and I’m excited to share that knowledge with you. My experience gives me a unique perspective on how to prepare for endurance events, from physical training to mental fortitude, and I’m here to make sure you’re ready to crush it on race day.
One of my favorite races was the Ultra Trail La Ruta Madre in Mexico, where I had the chance to run through the Desierto Los Leones, a stunning, rugged landscape full of history and beauty. The challenge of navigating these trails and pushing my limits was incredible. I’ve also enjoyed running races like the Born to Run 100 miles in California and summiting peaks like Iztaccihuatl and Cerro Rojo. Each experience has helped me grow as a runner, but more importantly, it’s made me even more passionate about helping others push past their own limits and achieve their goals. Whether you’re eyeing a local trail run or training for your first ultramarathon, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned along the way.
