1. About Outdoorable
Outdoorable connects individuals planning outdoor adventures (“Clients”) with independent outdoor professionals, including guides, athletes, and route designers (“Experts”), through 1:1 video calls. These calls provide information and insights to help Clients plan their adventures independently. Outdoorable does not provide guided tours, arrange bookings, or assume responsibility for actions taken based on advice shared.
2. Eligibility
To use Outdoorable, you must:- Be at least 18 years old.- Provide accurate and complete information during sign-up and in any submitted forms.- Agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Services and Payments
Video Calls: Clients can book video calls with Experts based on their trip details and preferences.- **Payment**: Clients pay for calls on a per-session basis. A single 25-minute call costs [$X]. - Bundle options may be available in the future.
Refunds: Refunds are issued only for technical issues or if the Expert fails to attend the call.
4. Independent Experts
Experts on Outdoorable are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Outdoorable.
Outdoorable does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of advice provided by Experts.
Clients are encouraged to verify information and make informed decisions based on personal discretion.
5. Conduct and Prohibited Activities:
For Clients: Clients agree not to
- Harass or intimidate Experts or other platform users.
- Use Expert advice to engage in illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized activities (e.g., trespassing, violating local laws).
- Misrepresent trip details or intentions when booking a session.
For Experts: Experts agree to
- Provide accurate, honest, and professional advice within the scope of their expertise.
- Respect client confidentiality and refrain from sharing personal details without consent.
6. Content Ownership and Use Transcripts and Summaries:
All video calls may be transcribed for quality assurance and follow-up purposes. Summaries provided by Experts after the call may be shared with Clients.
- User-Generated Content: By submitting forms, questions, or reviews, you grant Outdoorable a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this content for promotional and operational purposes.
- Intellectual Property: All content and branding on the Outdoorable platform are the intellectual property of Outdoorable. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials without explicit permission.
7. Liability Disclaimer:
Outdoorable is not liable for:
- Any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from actions taken based on advice provided during video calls.
- Trail or location closures, unforeseen weather events, or inaccuracies in information provided by Experts.
- Any illegal, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior by Clients or Experts.
Clients assume full responsibility for their actions and decisions while planning and executing their trips. Outdoorable does not endorse or verify the content or advice provided by Experts.
8. Indemnity:
Clients and Experts agree to indemnify and hold Outdoorable harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform, including but not limited to:
- Injuries or accidents during outdoor activities.
- Legal violations (e.g., trespassing, failing to obtain permits).
- Misuse of advice or content shared on the platform.
9. Privacy Policy:
