Hi, I’m Magdalene. I grew up in Vermont, where I learned early on how healing, grounding, and joy-filled time in nature can be. That love became my life’s work: I’ve spent over a decade guiding in national parks, Arctic wildernesses, and remote corners of Scandinavia—and now run a small company offering dog sledding, trekking, and hut-to-hut skiing adventures in Norway and beyond.
Whether you’re planning your first solo trip, bringing a multigenerational crew together, or dreaming of a snowy expedition under the northern lights, I’ll help you design a trip that pushes your limits just enough—and gets you closer to the wild, the quiet, and yourself.
I live and guide all over Norway, from the fjords of the southwest to the Arctic north. My specialties include hut-to-hut skiing, trekking, and designing custom dog sledding adventures.
Svalbard, the high Arctic archipelago is one of my favorite places to guide. From ice caves and snowmobile crossings to polar bear tracking and northern lights magic—Svalbard is a true frontier.
I’ve led multi-day treks across Northern Sweden, including the Kungsleden trail, Kebnekaise, and Abisko. I can help travelers plan remote hut trips or cozy Scandinavian escapes.
I’ve spent several years guiding in Alaska, especially around Juneau, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. I specialize in winter adventures—dog sledding, aurora chasing, and Arctic immersion.
Vermont is home. I know every backroad, trail, and maple stand—and love helping others plan fall foliage hikes, cozy cabin getaways, and outdoor experiences across the state.
The White Mountains are a fantastic spot for challenging hikes and scenic drives. I’ve guided in the region and know how to match routes with all skill levels.
I’ve led trips through the Grand Canyon and love helping first-timers understand the logistics, seasonal nuances, and best trails in and around the park.
